5. Data Retention

5.1 Active Accounts

We retain your data as long as your account is active:

  • Transactional data: 7 years (or as required by tax laws)
  • Sales history: Lifetime of account
  • Dealer information: Until dealer relationship ends + 1 year
  • Analytics data: 3 years
  • Audit logs: 2 years

5.2 Account Termination

After account closure:

  • Active data: Deleted within 30 days
  • Backups: Purged within 90 days
  • Financial records: Retained for 7 years (legal requirement)
  • Anonymized analytics: May be retained indefinitely

6. Your Rights & Choices

6.1 Data Access

You have the right to:

  • Access all data stored in your ChannelIQ account
  • Export data in machine-readable formats (CSV, JSON, Excel)
  • View audit logs of data access and modifications
  • Download compliance reports

6.2 Data Correction

You can update and correct information directly through the ChannelIQ platform. Administrators have full edit access to all organizational data.

6.3 Data Deletion

You can request deletion of:

7. International Data Transfers

ChannelIQ is operated from India. If you access our platform from outside India:
