Delete Your ECHO Data

Complete guide to removing your decision intelligence data and account

Important Notice

Deleting your ECHO data is permanent and cannot be undone. This will remove all your decision contexts, patterns, notes, and account information. Consider exporting your data before proceeding with deletion.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Personal Information

  • • Account credentials and profile
  • • Email address and contact info
  • • User preferences and settings
  • • Subscription information

Decision Intelligence Data

  • • All decision contexts and notes
  • • Historical decision patterns
  • • Tags and categories
  • • Analytics and insights

Data Export (Optional)

Export Your Data Before Deletion

We recommend exporting your decision data before requesting deletion. This allows you to keep a personal copy of your insights and decision patterns.

To export your data:

  1. 1. Open ECHO app
  2. 2. Go to Settings → Data Management
  3. 3. Tap "Export My Data"
  4. 4. Choose export format (PDF or JSON)
  5. 5. Download the export file

How to Request Data Deletion

Method 1: In-App Deletion

  1. 1. Open the ECHO app
  2. 2. Navigate to Settings → Account
  3. 3. Scroll down to "Data Management"
  4. 4. Tap "Delete My Account & Data"
  5. 5. Confirm your identity with password or biometric
  6. 6. Type "DELETE" to confirm the action
  7. 7. Tap "Permanently Delete Account"

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, send an email with the following information:

Subject: ECHO Data Deletion Request

Include in your email:

  • • Full name associated with the account
  • • Email address used for ECHO account
  • • Reason for deletion (optional)
  • • Confirmation statement: "I request complete deletion of my ECHO account and all associated data"

Deletion Timeline

Immediate

Account access disabled

7 Days

All decision data deleted from active systems

30 Days

Complete removal from backup systems

What Happens After Deletion

  • • Your account will be permanently deactivated
  • • All decision contexts and notes will be deleted
  • • Your subscription will be cancelled (no refund for unused time)
  • • You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
  • • You can create a new account in the future, but previous data cannot be restored

Data Retained for Legal Compliance

In accordance with legal requirements, we may retain certain information for tax, legal, and regulatory compliance purposes. This includes transaction records and basic account information, which will be retained for the minimum period required by law (typically 3-7 years).
