<p>It has happened finally- Google has unveiled the much awaited Google+! So what’s so great about it? Let me tell you this is the company’s top secret social layer which finally turns all of the <strong>Search Engines</strong> into one single giant social network.</p>
<p>Trust me; Google has always dominated the Search Engine War for many years still getting into the social media business proved tricky. Let’s look back to history now- with Google Buzz, Google created certain amount of wave, Orkut was a big hit however at the day’s end failed to go in the planned direction. Right; Google had actually no product to counter the successful and growing social network, Facebook. Ouch that was quite a pain but Google didn’t keep quiet. Since the last one year it has been worked on a particular project. Rumors spread about the <strong>Google Circle</strong> however Google snubbed that off and then slowly but steadily unveiled the ‘Google+’ as beta version to a limited number of users on June 28, 2011. Google tried to downplay it but people started talking about and tweeting about the new guy in the town!</p>

Niw the most important question – why is this so important ?  Well, think once Zuckerberg is on the platform which will be, ( if not yet) the Facebook’s biggest competitor. The concept of Friends which is core to Facebook also holds true for Google+ however Google has carried to the next level while calling it ‘Circles’. Perhaps by now you are aware that it is through Circles you have to select and organize contacts into groups for optimal sharing. <strong>The best part is the whole idea is way more intuitive than Facebook groups</strong> and also much convenient to use.</p>
<p>Wait! There are still many more features that Google+ has showcased. These are not just innovative but also a much better version of an existing service either by Google or a third party. Let’s take the example of Sparks here. Well, Sparks combines <strong>Google Reader</strong> and social bookmarking websites, thus making it easier for you to share content you like with the people whom you like, aka Circles. Let me tell you another big feature of Google+. Have you noticed the toolbar that exists across the top of all Google sites? <p>Giant Google however confirms that these features are simply the tip of the iceberg and there are much bigger aspects waiting as surprises to take us by awe. If I am not mistaking I remember Google being voted as one of the most trusted brands in the world since 2007. Google + stands as an extension of Google itself hence it includes, combines and integrates the big Google properties into one big platform to let the people find and share.</p>
